it happens to be very useful to journalists and content creators who wish to track current affairs and publish quickly. that’s the practical side of it, and it’s a good one.
my goal however, the end state of nufeed, isn’t only about productivity, but of personal autonomy.
a lot of people rely on social media for news, with as many as 75% in some countries. these algorythmic feeds profile us based on our behavior and personal information, to promote the most engaging content. this doesn't necessarily lead to us being well-informed.
i think nufeed offers a novel user experience, allowing us to design our own algorythms and decide for ourselves what deserves our attention.
